This project consisted of the design and construction of two (2) – 60’ x 120’ earthen sludge drying beds at the Village of Sidney Wastewater Treatment Plant. Construction of the drying beds allowed the facility to significantly reduce its annual Operation and Maintenance costs. The major components of the project included the following:
- Installation of the Geomembrane liner that underlays each drying bed
- Installation of pervious pavement to ease with the sludge removal process
