Lamont Engineers has been extremely successful in obtaining state and federal grant and loan funds for rural New York communities. We work with a number of funding programs, including USDA Rural Development, NYS Revolving Fund, NYS Green Innovation Grant Program (GIGP), the NYS Regional Economic Development Councils, the Office of Community Renewal (CDBG), and the consolidated funding application, Catskill Watershed Corporation, Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery, State Office of Historic Preservation, Water Quality Improvement Program, NYSDOS—Local Waterfront Improvement Program, Appalachian Regional Commis-sion, and other available funding sources to develop affordable funding packages for our cli-ents’ infrastructure projects. Our projects have ranged from a small $117,750 NYS Park grant to acquire land for a community park to a $8.5 million funding package with multiple funding agencies for a new wastewater treatment and collection system in a small (pop. 965), rural community.

Lamont Engineers assists our clients with project and grant administration including bookkeeping and reporting services, and fiscal coordination. In addition, we offer environmental review services.
